Job summary

Luxe at Jupiter Health & Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT, following established treatment plans. Requirements include an Associate degree from an accredited program, state licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in the state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides Occupational Therapy services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assists the Occupational Therapist in the evaluation process as needed or directed.
• Identifies indications for and assists in evaluations at appropriate intervals under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assists the Occupational Therapist in identifying a problem list, short term goals, long term goals and treatment plan.
• Conducts individual, supervised and group treatment as assigned by the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitors patient’s response to intervention and consults with Occupational Therapist if modification is needed.
• Maintains acceptable patient care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.
