Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our growing team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized care plans crafted by the therapists.

You will assist in implementing treatment programs and documenting patient progress during each visit. As part of our team, you will communicate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes and continuity

Qualifications

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment programs under the supervision of an OT.
• Record patient conditions and responses to treatments after each visit.
• Provide ongoing communication with the OT, director/ Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate standard occupational therapy equipment.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
