Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide weekend coverage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The OT will perform evaluation, planning and ongoing re-assessment following Practice of Occupational Therapy Act rules.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, treatment planning, discharge planning and ensuring high quality patient experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited OT program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Texas OT license or temporary license required.
• At least 1 year of licensed OT experience.

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide weekend coverage. Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN position renders professional and technical occupational therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist
