Qualifications

• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with 5 years of direct practice experience.
• Current license or eligibility for license in state of practice.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adequate computer skills to complete required job duties and documentation.
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop a comprehensive plan of care.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review patient information and assess impact on assessment and treatment processes.
• Conduct functional assessments using standardized procedures and consider home/vocational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable goals.
• Revise treatment plans as needed throughout treatment.
• Complete documentation per federal/state laws and standards; supervise assistants as required.
• Communicate with nursing staff, patients, and families to ensure care delivery.
