Job summary

ARC Rehab, at Lee Manor Nursing & Rehabilita­tion in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy in a SNF setting.

You will document care, screen residents, and communicate with patients, families, and the care team. Supervising assistants and pursuing ongoing education will be part of the role, enhancing clinical practice and departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois as an Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Comfortable with computers.
• SNF experience preferred, open to other practice areas.

Accommodate, Restore & Collaborate (ARC Rehab) is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) at Lee Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Des Plaines, IL. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performing evaluations/plans of care and providing treatment accordingly.
• Appropriately and effectively completing documentation.
• Screening residents and individuals who may benefit from therapy.
• Communicating patient status and needs to the patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care.
• Directing and supervising the work of assistants as applicable.
• Expanding and enhancing self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.
• Providing in-service training sessions or other educational presentations to members of the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Supporting and participating in department operations/meetings.

Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Illinois as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues
• Comfortable with computers
• Preferred experience working at a SNF, but we are open to other practice area experience
