Responsibilities

• Direct patient treatments in the Occupational Therapy department.
• Maintain departmental and patient records, including charting daily progress.
• Evaluate patients to determine current status and plan therapy programs.
• Plan therapy programs for in-patients, out-patients, extended care, and stress management.
• Prepare and fit splints as ordered; requisition supplies and equipment.
• Provide a safe OT department and ensure economical use of hospital resources.
