Job summary

Champion, Partners in Rehab invites a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) to join a PRN SNF position at Traylor Retirement Community in Roanoke, Alabama. The role supports the OTR in delivering rehabilitation therapy to patients with diverse physical and psychosocial needs, emphasizing ADLs and functional skills.

The position requires an OT curriculum credential, experience in SNF, and the ability to chart progress.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential required (COTA/L).
• Two years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to chart patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning therapy programs for all patients.
• Evaluate patient response, measure progress, and record data.
• Prepare and fit splints for upper and lower extremities as ordered.
• Determine splinting and supply needs and report to OTR.
• Assist in in-service education and prepare treatment area.
