Job summary

Paris Health & Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN coverage to evaluate patients and develop plans of care. You will supervise therapy assistants, coordinate with physicians, and adapt treatment to improve function across settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining clinical records, communicating progress to the care team, and participating in ongoing training and case conferences as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OT curriculum accredited jointly by licensing bodies.
• Registered with the NBCOT and licensed to practice in the state.
• Must hold a current and valid therapy license in the state employed.
• Familiarity with computer use, apps and confidentiality of data.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s functional status and develops plan of care.
• Develops treatment program and establishes goals for improved function.
• Communicates plan of care to referring physician and other professionals.
• Supervises certified occupational therapy assistants according to policy and state regulations.
• Maintains clinical records and reports changes to the physician.
• Attends case conferences and promotes coordinated care.
• Some travel may be required.
