Job summary

Northwest-Health-Porte is seeking an Occupational Therapist (PRN) to evaluate patients, plan and administer therapeutic interventions to enhance daily living and work activities. The role requires establishing patient-centered goals, reassessing progress, and thorough documentation.

The position involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals to optimize outcomes, mentoring students and staff, and ensuring compliant billing and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clinical OT experience required.
• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation facility preferred.
• Experience with evaluations and treatment plans.
• Licensed OT registered in the state (OTR)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and document findings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy interventions and educate patients.
• Regularly reassess progress and update plans.
• Collaborate with care team to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency across patient populations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Mentor and orient new staff and OT students.
• Ensure accurate billing documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
