Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shreveport is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a PRN role in our inpatient rehabilitation program. You will deliver direct patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a supportive team to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Applicants should hold current licensure, CPR certification, and preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
