Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shreveport invites an Occupational Therapist to join our PRN team. You will deliver direct therapy, assess patient needs, and tailor care plans to promote independence and meaningful outcomes in a supportive inpatient setting.

We value compassionate care, ongoing learning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include state licensure and CPR; a Master’s degree is preferred or Bachelor’s with experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to patients in need of OT services.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience
