Job summary

Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a PRN Plus Occupational Therapist to join our team. The OT evaluates and treats clients across the lifespan to improve daily functioning and independence.

Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, re-evaluating progress, supervising students and assistants, documenting care per policy, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery. This role requires weekend availability and weekday coverage on a PRN basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients after impairment, injury, or disease.
• Creates individualized treatment plans and selects evidence-based interventions.
• Re-evaluates progress and contributes to discharge planning.
• Supervises students and physical therapy assistants.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team for client care interventions.
• Delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided.
• Performs duties as requested by the manager and ensures safe practice.
• Maintains timely documentation per department/hospital policy and insurer requirements.
• Provides clinical resources and participates in quality initiatives.
