Job summary

Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV. The OT will assess daily living activities, create personalized treatment plans, and deliver interventions to improve independence, working within a multidisciplinary team.

This PRN role offers flexibility and a patient-centered approach, focusing on education for patients and caregivers and optimizing functional outcomes in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with active WV license or eligibility.
• PRN availability and flexibility to cover shifts.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ abilities to perform daily activities and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions addressing functional limitations, including adaptive techniques and cognitive strategies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on use of adaptive equipment and home/environment modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
