Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients at Riverside Oaks-Victoria, TX. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, review records, set goals, and develop treatment plans to maximize independence while supervising OTAs and rehab techs.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited OT program, hold current OT licensure in Texas, and demonstrate strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the practicing state (TX).
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Able to relate well to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and function.
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.
