Job summary

PruittHealth's PruittPlace - ALF Therapy Services is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents per the occupational therapy plan, complete all documentation, and follow established policies. This role supports the care team on a PRN/part-time basis, with opportunities for merit increases and professional growth.

The position requires a valid OT license in the state of practice, ACOTE-accredited education, and NBCOT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited program and eligible to take NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per OT care plan.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Adhere to policies and scope of practice.
• Recognize priorities in patient care and act with initiative.
• Complete orientations, in-services, and trainings timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
