Qualifications

• Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam room, prepare for examination and assist practitioner.
• Draw blood and prepare paperwork for laboratory pick-up.
• Perform urine drug screens with proper chain of custody and prepare for lab shipment.
• Maintain and stock exam, lab and treatment rooms; manage supplies.
• Maintain medical records and protect confidentiality of employee health information.
• Front office duties: phones, check-in/check-out, record processing.
• Dispense medications as directed by practitioner and per state regulations.
• Operate and calibrate clinical equipment; record-keeping per policy.
• Perform ancillary testing (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws).
