Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure: Virginia Board of Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provides and documents assistance to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists/care for patients during the entire experience under physician or RN supervision.
• Assists with room turnaround, cleaning of equipment, supplies and environment.
• Organizes supplies and equipment as needed.
• Nursing Expertise: Assists with patient care while complying with policy and safety rules.
• Understands sterile and non-sterile techniques.
• Adheres to safety measures.
