Position Highlights:- Shift Schedule: PRN, Days (7a - 7p), One 12-hour shift every two weeks
- Department: Admission/Discharge Unit
- Location: High Point Medical Center
What You'll Need:- High School Diploma or GED General Studies
- Successful completion of a North Carolina Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation
- Nurse Aide I Registration Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Preferred: Prior experience
Functions:- Assist RN in patient care.
- Perform specialized procedures as directed.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all.
- Ensure accurate, timely patient info sharing.
- Communicate effectively, positively, and professionally.
- Provide age-appropriate care per guidelines.
- Take initiative for growth and development.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:- Lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
- Perform bending, squatting, and standing tasks.
- Use visual acuity for reading and documentation.
- Maintain a sense of smell for safety.
- Utilize a sense of touch to evaluate vital signs.
- Communicate effectively verbally and audibly.
