Summary

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Cutaneous Oncology Department

Position Highlights:

  • Supports the Dermatology service and patients.
  • Assists physicians with evaluation, management, and treatment of dermatology-related disorders.
  • Works within a defined scope of practice under physician supervision or specific protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Correlates data to formulate diagnoses.
  • Develops treatment plans within scope of practice.
  • Performs minor biopsy procedures.
  • Prescribes medications as appropriate.
  • Documents patient care according to medical staff rules.

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum; master's preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited ARNP or PA program.
  • Active FL medical license or ability to obtain one; certification by the appropriate body.
  • Active BLS (AHA approved).
  • Experience in dermatology preferred; oncology or internal medicine is a plus.
