Job summary

Medcor is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our employer-based clinic in Clinton, IA. The role focuses on occupational health and primary care, with a Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

As needed hours come with no guaranteed hours, but flexibility for additional shifts may be requested by the client. You will collaborate with on-site medical staff and Medcor leadership to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Iowa license to practice as PA or NP.
• DEA and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent clinical care for the clinic, including occupational health and primary care.
• Collaborate with on-site medical staff and Medcor leadership.
• Work with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices.
• Document and manage information using EMR and other tools.
• Educate patients regarding conditions and treatment options.
• Coach patients on healthy behaviors.
