The role supports a correctional patient population under physician supervision and focuses on assessments, diagnoses, and medication management in a secure setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Tennessee APRN license, active DEA, and board certification, with the ability to pass credentialing and background checks.

We are currently seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Northeast Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, TN.

The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Qualifications

• Clean, active TN APRN license
• Active DEA
• Board certification
• Ability to pass credentialing, background and drug screening

Shift

• Monday - Friday Only
• 10 hour shifts
• Day shift
• 1-2 days per week
