Job summary

Premise Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to employees and dependents. Flexible hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with no lunch break. Requires 3+ years in ambulatory care and active NP licensure, DEA, and national certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN and NP licensure in applicable states.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• MSN or higher in nursing; transcripts if degree not explicitly stated as Nursing.
• Current state prescriptive authority (where applicable) and DEA license.
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs procedures including injections, suturing, wound care and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, documents progress and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed and maintains updated health records.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
