Job Description:

Job Title: PRN Overnight Nurse

Department: Rapid Access Unit

Location: Columbia, MO

Schedule: PRN

Rate: $22-$36 per hour (depending on credentials/experience)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver compassionate and personalized nursing care, prioritizing clients' needs and well-being while allowing flexibility.
2. Skillfully execute physician's orders, ensuring coordinated healthcare services and a seamless patient experience, adapting as necessary.
3. Carry out essential nursing responsibilities, including accurate temperature and blood pressure measurements, providing comfort and confidence to clients.
4. Engage in detailed interviews with clients and families to understand their medical background and medication history for comprehensive care planning.
5. Maintain and update patient documentation with accuracy to facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals.
6. Monitor and manage medical administration records (MARs) and handle medication prescribing authorities (PA's) with safety and adherence to protocols.
7. Serve as a resource for nursing and medical inquiries, offering guidance and fostering collaboration within the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
