Job summary

Brentwood Place Two in Dallas is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing setting. You will supervise nursing staff during your shift, administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and collaborate with physicians to meet residents' needs with compassion.

This role requires compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control practices, and accurate completion of the MDS process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice, required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during shift.
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders as allowed by policy.
• Manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency use.
• Coordinate shift and resident assignments and breaks.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide timely, effective care.
