Job summary

Devereux is seeking an LPN or RN to work several PRN shifts at a residential adolescent group home in Kennesaw, GA. Starting pay is $28/hr for LPN and $35/hr for RN, plus a $3/hr night/weekend differential. The role includes direct nursing care, medication administration, and medical treatments.

Requirements include GA nursing licensure, 6 months to 1 year nursing experience, and overnight availability (6:30pm–7:00am) every other weekend/holidays. New hire orientation is two weeks, in Kennesaw.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with children/adolescents a plus.

1 Shift/week AND 1 Weekend/month REQUIRED

2 weeks orientation REQUIRED

Starting Pay is $28/hr, LPN & $35/RN + additional $$ with years of experience in nursing!

Shift Differential: additional $3/hr on Nights/Weekends

As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited LPN OR RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
• Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Other Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Overnight availability, 6:30p-7am, every other weekend (Sat/Sunday) availability and holidays required.
• Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class located in Kennesaw, GA; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
