Job summary

HeartCare Imaging in Clarksville, TN is seeking a self-reliant Nuclear Medicine Technologist for PRN shifts. Independently performs all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using solid technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations.

Duties include acquiring and processing patient studies and setting up readings for physicians. Requires ARRT and/or NMTCB certification, liability insurance, 2+ years CNMT experience, and current BLS or ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• Carry Professional Liability Insurance.
• Prefer at least two years of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Certified Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (maintain current at all times).

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment.
• Acquire and process patient studies.
• Set up readings for physicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily records.
• Communicate with the home office.
