Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist on a PRN basis to perform diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals. You will operate equipment, prepare isotopes, position patients, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program graduate with active Florida licensure and NMTCB/ARRT(N) credentials, plus at least one year of experience and BLS; ACLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current Florida CRT licensure and NMTCB/ARRT(N) credential.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.
• Prepare isotopes for patient administration and record dosages.
• Operate scanners or scintillation cameras to create diagnostic images.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Monitor, document, and communicate findings with the team.
• Assist with transporting patients as needed.
