Advanced Cardiovascular Specialist in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our growing team. You will prepare and administer radioactive isotopes, operate SPECT and PET scanners, and perform cardiac imaging to support accurate diagnoses.

Ideal candidates hold NMTCB or ARRT-N licensure, with experience in cardiac imaging, quality control, and safety. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a patient-centered environment and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Certification and current licensure as NMTCB or ARRT-N.
  • Experience with SPECT and PET imaging, cardiac care preferred.
  • Strong technical skills with imaging equipment and QC procedures.
  • Excellent communication and patient care.
  • Attention to detail and safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic, therapeutic, and tracer studies under physician direction.
  • Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment to produce SPECT and PET scans for physician interpretation.
  • Perform cardiac imaging procedures to detect and assess abnormalities.
  • Take patient histories, explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each exam.
  • Calculate, measure, and document radiation dosages and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Conduct quality control checks, calibrate laboratory equipment, and maintain accurate records.
  • Safely handle and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support departmental accreditation by maintaining thorough records and assisting with compliance.

What You'll Do
