Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologist for a PRN role. You will cover a 23-bed, private-room Level III NICU and a normal newborn nursery, collaborating with an experienced neonatal team.

The position offers flexible PRN coverage with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based newborn care and participation in a high-performing NICU and family-centered programs.

Qualifications

• MD licensure required.
• Initial board certification in Pediatrics.
• Completion of Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine Fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine.
• BLS and NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN neonatology coverage for a 23-bed Level III NICU and normal newborn nursery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary NICU team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Be available for flexible PRN shifts to support patient care coverage as needed.
