Lynx EMS in Columbus, Ohio is seeking two dependable PRN Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

NEMT Drivers provide safe and reliable transportation for patients traveling to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare destinations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• NEMT or healthcare transportation experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
• Willingness to work flexible, as-needed shifts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments.
• Follow schedules, routes, and dispatch instructions.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment as needed.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate customer service.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
• Communicate delays or emergencies to dispatch promptly.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Protect passenger privacy and confidentiality.
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, and safety issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

We are seeking two dependable, professional, and compassionate PRN Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

NEMT Drivers provide safe and reliable transportation for patients traveling to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare destinations.

The ideal candidates are punctual, patient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent customer service to individuals who depend on transportation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
• Follow assigned schedules, routes, and dispatch instructions.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment according to established procedures.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate customer service.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, cancellations, and emergencies.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and applicable transportation safety requirements.
• Protect passenger privacy and confidentiality.
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, and safety issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous driving or transportation experience preferred.
• NEMT or healthcare transportation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles.

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stand, and walk as required by the job.

Compensation & Schedule

• Openings: 2 PRN positions
• Pay: $16.00 per hour

• Employment Type: PRN / As Needed
• Schedule: Flexible shifts based on operational needs
