Lynx EMS in Charles Town, WV is seeking dependable PRN NEMT Drivers / EMT Assistants to support transport operations on an as-needed basis. You will assist with scheduled transports, hospital discharges, dialysis appointments, and interfacility transfers while delivering compassionate patient care.

Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and able to lift up to 150 lbs. EMT certification is not required, offering a strong entry point into healthcare and EMS roles within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clean background check.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, professional and compassionate.
• EMT certification not required — opportunity for healthcare/EMS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe, non-emergency patient transportation.
• Safely load, secure, and transport patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and equipment.
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout transport.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Keep vehicles clean, stocked, and inspection-ready.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, and healthcare facilities.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
