Job summary

Lynx EMS in Berkely Springs, WV seeks a PRN NEMT Driver / EMT Assistant to support our transport operations on an as-needed basis. You'll assist with scheduled patient transports, hospital discharges, dialysis appointments, and interfacility transfers while providing exceptional customer service and patient care.

This role offers hands-on healthcare exposure, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to grow within EMS.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe, non-emergency patient transportation.
• Safely load, secure, and transport patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout transport.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Keep vehicles clean, stocked, and inspection-ready.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, and healthcare facilities.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
