Heartland Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN role across multiple Louisville and Elizabethtown locations. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging in a outpatient setting.

Openings require ARRT or ARMRIT registration, an associate's degree or equivalent radiology training, and state licensure compliance. PRN staffing offers flexible shifts with weekday evening and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT in Radiography or ARMRIT with active registration; ARRT/ARMRIT advanced MRI registration at hire.
• Must meet applicable state licensure requirements.

• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient comfort during visits.
• Support outpatient imaging operations across designated Louisville and Elizabethtown locations.

MRI Technologist - PRN (as needed)

Position Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform MRI exams safely and efficiently, while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This PRN opportunity is ideal if you’re an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage. Our MRI Department is open 7 days/week, both day and evening shifts available.
• Location(s):
  • Louisville: 7807 Shelbyville Road
  • Louisville: 5227 Dixie Highway
  • Elizabethtown: 1111 Woodland Drive

Requirements

• Education: Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

• License/Certification Requirements:
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and maintain current, valid registration.
  • Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire.
  • Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
