Job description

MRI / CT Technologist | Denver Metro Area
Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations

Employment Type: PRN

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
  • Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary.
  • Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
  • Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager.
  • Focuses on customer service and uses courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere.
  • Required to respond to a medical emergency, including administering CPR.
  • Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • 1-2 years magnetic resonance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Exceptional patient skills a must.

Education Requirements:

  • ARRT (MR) and (CT) required.
  • Must maintain and meet continuing education requirements as set forth by the ARRT.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.

The pay range for this position is $37.00 to $52.00/hr.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates’ reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.

Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
