Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a PRN Mental Health Technician and Driver for outpatient services. The role includes direct patient care and patient transportation, supporting the therapeutic milieu, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining unit documentation. CPR and Assaultive Behavior training are required before assuming care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License and good driving record.
• CPR certification required; Management of Assaultive Behavior training completed prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient setting.
• Transport patients to and from hospital and activities in a van/bus.
• Maintain safety and therapeutic milieu on unit and during transport.
• Assist with activities of daily living as appropriate per treatment plan.
• Document patient care, incidents, and transportation in required reports.
• Uphold ethics and customer service standards of the organization.
