Job summary

Windmoor Healthcare of Clearwater, part of Universal Health Services, invites applications for a Mental Health Tech - PRN. Two 12-hour shifts (7p–7a, 7a–7p) ensure continuous patient care in a 144-bed psychiatric hospital in Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities include milieu management, supervision, and crisis intervention as part of the treatment team. The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in healthcare, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year in a healthcare setting and/or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must complete and maintain aggression management/crisis intervention/restraint training.
• Must pass competency assessments within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Milieu management and continuous patient care supervision.
• Lead therapeutic MHT patient groups.
• Conduct Q15 rounds and one-to-one patient supervision.
• Participate in crisis intervention situations as needed.
• Follow the treatment team plan and maintain awareness of each patient’s plan.
