Job summary

Tyler ISD seeks a PRN Medication Aide to supervise self-administered medications for Assisted Living residents, following guidelines from Senior Solutions Management Group. The role reports to the Wellness Director and includes educational sessions for residents and staff, with emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and adherence to all policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Licensed CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide with medication administration training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medication for Assisted Living residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and SSMG guidelines directed by the Wellness Director.
• Report changes in residents’ health and document to the Wellness Director.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain documentation and communication with staff and departments.
