Description

We're looking for an as needed (PRN) Medical Social Worker to join our Valley View Team!

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

• Assists Valley View inpatients and outpatients and their families in the overall management of their plan of care across the continuum.
• Provides psychosocial assessment and intervention for patients experiencing distress and employs individual consultation, family, and group methods.
• Practices within the guidelines of professional social work ethics and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited Council of Social Work Education program.
• Licensed in Colorado with Licensed Clinical Social Worker credentials.
• BLS through the American Heart Association with card in hand before start date.

Skills:

• Counseling, consultations to physicians and hospital staff, medical social work skills, mental health assessments.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

SALARY RANGE:

• $29.05 to $42.73/hour + 14% PRN Differential Pay.
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
