Qualifications

• A.S. degree or MLT certification recognized by GDCH.
• ASCP/AAB/AMT MLT certification widely accepted.
• Ability to obtain specimens appropriately for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive and accession specimens.
• Perform and document laboratory tests and results.
• Perform and record calibration according to policy.
• Perform and record daily QC and notify of corrective actions.
• Maintain QC logs and inventory of supplies and procedures.
• Complete basic clerical duties related to test data and report critical values.
• Train new MT/MLT staff as needed.
