Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with MA exposure.
• MA program graduate or EMT certification.
• Nursing Assistant training accepted.
• 3 years healthcare experience in medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts patient to clinical area and confirms identity.
• Transcribes and updates patient information in records.
• Provides clerical support; prepares patient charts for providers.
• Performs EMR orders reconciliation as directed.
• Keeps examination area clean and stocked; conducts rounds.
• Assists in patient preparation for visits and supplies ready.
• Coordinates in-office testing and external services as needed.
• Collects and processes specimens; logs results.
• Contacts patients with test results and follow-up instructions.
• Maintains inventory and cleans/testing of equipment; logs activity.
• Communicates and documents electronic messages effectively.
• Assist in training new staff.
• Maintains competencies for in-office procedures.
• Fulfills compliance responsibilities and models organizational values.
• Maintains regular attendance and reliability.
• Performs other duties as required.
