Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures that exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked.
• Reviews previous medical information and gathers any updated health information.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepares and administers medications and immunizations as directed.
• Partners with care team to develop individual patient care plans.
• Records accurate data in the medical record according to guidelines.
• Participates in outreach to patients to drive engagement.

Experience as a Medical Assistant
