Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review medical information and gather updated health information.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications as directed by the Provider.
• Collaborate with care team to develop individual patient care plans.
• Perform front desk duties, including patient scheduling and documentation.
• Record accurate data in medical records according to guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate with patients.
• Engage with patients to drive outreach and engagement.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies for treatments.
