Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
National or state-specific MA certification required where applicable.
CPR/BLS certification required at time of start.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Escort patients and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
Review medical information and gather updated health information.
Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, assist with procedures.
Prepare and administer approved medications as directed by the Provider.
Collaborate with care team to develop individual patient care plans.
Perform front desk duties, including patient scheduling and documentation.
Record accurate data in medical records according to guidelines.
Process test results and communicate with patients.
Engage with patients to drive outreach and engagement.
Maintain clinical and office supplies for treatments.
