One to One Health is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on patient-centered care, coordinating daily tasks, preparing treatment rooms, and supporting practitioners in a collaborative clinic setting.

The Medical Assistant builds relationships with patients, handles records, and assists with lab work and minor procedures while maintaining a compliant, professional, and efficient practice.

Qualifications

• Timely responses and professional communication.
• Strong communication skills with empathy.
• Proficient in basic technology (Microsoft products).
• Willing to learn patient engagement software / omnichannel communication.
• Willing to learn basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with strong organization.
• Professionalism and teamwork.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow written or verbal step-by-step instructions.
• Ability to concentrate, think, and learn.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information by interviewing patients and recording history.
• Prepare patients for examination and take vitals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and medical records.
• Provide support for providers and clinic operations.
• Instruct patients on collection of samples and tests.
• Assist with injections and medication administration as directed.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Document chart entries in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
• Arrange referrals and obtain pre-authorizations as directed.
