Role Overview

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in our care team, working closely with primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care. This role combines clinical responsibilities with front desk duties, overseeing the full patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and ensure cleanliness and stocking
• Review medical histories and gather updated health information
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered
• Collaborate on patient care plans and address care gaps
• Manage front desk tasks: scheduling, records, referrals, check-in/out
• Document accurately in medical records and process test results
• Engage in outreach to promote patient engagement
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or related field
• National or state-specific MA certification/registration (preferred/required by state)
• CPR/BLS certification at start date
• Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
