Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to join our mobile health services supporting military service members across West Virginia.

This weekend-focused role includes occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis, with responsibilities in phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs. Certification as CMA/RMA and CPR/BLS are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Weekend availability required.
• Experience with military or mobile medical services preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of West Virginia an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
