A leading healthcare center is seeking a Mammography Technician for their Women's Breast Center. The role involves performing diagnostic mammography and ensuring compliance with safety standards, while also promoting a positive environment for patients and staff. Candidates should possess an associate's degree in radiologic technology and the necessary certifications to provide quality care.

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$37.62 - $37.62 / hour
Performs screening and diagnostic mammography as well as bone densitometry. Ensures that quality control as required under the MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) is being met. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation training.
Education:Two years of formal education in a hospital-based program or associates degree in radiologic technology required.
Experience:One year mammography experience preferred.
Certification:ARRT certification in radiology or radiology board eligible. ARRT certification in mammography preferred. ARRT certification in mammography will be required within 12 months or less from date of employment. Completion of 40 hours of required MQSA mammography training. Must complete mammography ARRT board certification within 12 months or less from date of employment.
License:Florida Radiologic Technology license required.
