Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform routine and specialized mammographic procedures. Under supervision, you will calculate technical factors and ensure precise patient positioning to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The role supports early detection and compassionate patient care within a safety-focused environment. Per diem or as-needed schedule, with vaccination requirements and Measles/Mumps/Rubella and Varicella immunization policies in place.

Qualifications

• Must have passed or be eligible for post primary Mammography certification; completion within 1 year pending.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with good standing.
• Mammography experience required.
• BLS certification with annual renewal.

A Day inthe Life

Under general supervision and in consultation with the Radiologist, the Mammography Technologist performs both routine and complex mammographic procedures, accurately calculating and selecting appropriate technical factors to ensure optimal equipment performance and precise patient positioning for specialized examinations.

The overall purpose of this role is to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports early detection and compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and clinical excellence. Qualifications

What’s Required

• Must have passed or is eligible for the post primary certification in Mammography. Continued employment is provisional based on completion and certification within one year
• Must have passed the examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and remain in good standing
• Mammography experience required
• BLS Certification and maintains annual renewal

Additional Information

Schedule: Per diem or as needed schedule, 7a-5p M-F

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
