Job summary

Crossover Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to play a key role in delivering the unique patient experience. You will greet guests, support clinicians, take histories and vitals, and manage front/back-office tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of back-office medical assisting experience, graduate of accredited program, and current BLS certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication are valued in our team-driven

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• Minimum of 2 years comparable clinical back office medical assistant experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Resolves customer complaints; assists customers with inquiries in connection with clinic services and hours of Operations.
• Takes medical histories, measure patient vitals, and other pertinent information to assist the clinician with care of the patient.
• Handles inventory, orders, and replenish medical supplies and materials.
• Administers medications, including injections in scope of practice.
• Handles multi-phone line system, professionally answering calls, scheduling appointments, responding to email, and ensuring great communication
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant provides clinic guests with above-and-beyond service to ensure an exceptional patient experience. As a Medical Assistant, you ensure that guests are delighted and happy from the moment they step into the clinic and continue to extend the service experience beyond the clinic walls to ensure superior service delivery.

Required Qualifications

Physical Job Requirements

May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Includes full range of body motion including potential of handling and lifting patients. Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
