Avera Education & Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its multidisciplinary team. This PRN position involves rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends across shifts within the United States of America, with pay range listed below and pay based on experience.

Under supervision, the LPN will organize and direct aspects of care, communicate diagnoses, and collaborate with the health care team to implement patient-centered plans and care interventions.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Responsabilités

• Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.
• Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered health care plan.
• Implements nursing interventions within a patient-centered health care plan.
• Assists in the evaluation of responses to interventions.
• Provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.
• Advocates for the best interest of the patient.
• Communicates and collaborates with patients and members of the health care team.
• Assists with health counseling and teaching.
• Delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.
