Job summary

My Health Onsite is hiring a Medical Assistant/LPN for PRN coverage in Flagler/Bunnell, FL. You will welcome patients, prepare them for exams, and assist with procedures while maintaining EMR documentation and patient safety.

The role requires Florida LPN licensure, 1 year clinical experience, and BLS. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a community-focused, patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• LPNs: Clear and Active license in Florida
• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regard to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
• Provide information and assistance to patients
• Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
• Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
